MY STORY

My names mean “Joy” and “Thank God”. “Asiimwe”, is a name that sings praise to the skies, and is an eternal reminder of my gratitude towards God.

Fueled by adventure, I'm dedicated to nursing, sports, family, baking, and lifelong learning, always exploring anew.

THE ESSENCE OF ASIIMWE

HERITAGE & ROOTS

I come from the quaint village of Kishabya in Western Uganda, nestled within Shuuku Town Council of Sheema district.

My lineage is woven into the fabric of the Banyankole tribe, specifically the Bahiira clan.

My Munyankole heritage drums within me. Runyankole is our primary language, since childhood. My lineage upholds a profound adherence to Catholic traditions.

THE BARIGYE ESTATE

My father’s name BARIGYE means “THEY ARE WELL...” The land here is generous, giving life to almost anything planted, mirroring the nurturant essence of my family.

My roots are fostered by the fertile soils of Sheema, where my parents, as large scale farmers, have cultivated a large banana plantation, coffee and livestock.

This is our FAMILY

Our family traditions are the threads that bind us, woven through every event - be it a wedding, a funeral, or a birth.

We gather, a testament to our unity and strength, carrying forward the legacy of our ancestors. These gatherings are not just social events where we share food, drink and dance; they are divine appointments where we honor the past and the present.

Our parents, with wisdom and diligence, planted in us a keen business acumen, morphing Sheema’s fertile grounds into a cradle of our entrepreneurial spirit- a legal we proudly uphold to date.

BLENDED

Our family’s tradition of coming together remains vibrant to this day. We cherish the shared meals and the memories created, with God ever-present, binding us in unity and love.

LOSS & GAIN

In the tapestry of our family’s story , there are threads of both joy and sorrow. We faced profound loss with the passing of the cherished men in our life - our brother Ronald and our father Archangel. Their absence left a silence in our hearts, but not in our spirit.

As an all-female household, we’ve embraced resilience, with God as our cornerstone. Our traditions, now bittersweet, are carried forward with a strength that defies the odds.

CRAFTED BY HANDS

Asiimwe is not self-made. She is a mosaic of grace, pieced together by countless hands of guidance, blessings that have rained upon her, and mentors who have shaped her path.

Each has left an indelible mark on the canvas of her life, for which she is eternally grateful.

BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING

My personal journey is a canvas painted with faith, and every brushstroke is a testament to God’s Grace.

BECOMING MRS.O

From the rich soils of my village to the sacred vows with my husband, Owere, each milestone is a stone laid on the path God has set for me.

In the leap of faith, there’s fear, but also a discovery of strength. Like the rope that holds firm, God’s presence is our assurance, guiding us through life’s jumps with unwavering support and boundless love...

SO, TAKE THAT LEAP!

GOING

FORWARD..

I look forward to cultivating hope and life, literally.

My aspirations are many, but at their core is the desire to give back, to be a source of comfort and support, just as I have been blessed.

THANK YOU
